How is it possible that I would meet that grizzly at all, let alone at the exact time that the wind was driving snow from directly behind me, so the camera could function and the snow would transform the trees into high definition with a very limited color palette?
Was it just luck to find the Rufous Hummingbird nest so hidden, or come upon the Loons on the very morning that the young bird was born, with the eggshell still visible?
Each image in this collection represents a priceless
memory to me. It’s true that I’ve seen many things in the
wild that I could not capture with my camera, but those remain as objectives
for the future… perhaps I’ll get another chance. In all,
Mother Nature has been very kind to me... the transient moments flowing
past me as a tide of strangers... each unique, each a story of its own.
